Dr. Anna Amstrong, Greenwich University, delivered a Public Lecture on Fintech
University of Nairobi’s Faculty of Business hosted a delegation from Greenwich University, London on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 for an engaging discussion on the evolving landscape of financial technology (fintech). The event provided a platform for students and experts to explore the rapid innovations shaping the financial sector and their implications for businesses and economies worldwide.
Dr. Anna Amstrong, an expert in fintech and cybersecurity from Greenwich University revealed how fintech is disrupting the finance industry and is a key driver of financial inclusion. She said that advancements such as digital payments, blockchain, and artificial intelligence are rapidly transforming traditional banking systems. The discussions emphasized how fintech is reshaping global commerce by enabling faster, more secure, and more accessible financial services.
